This beautiful townhouse in Glassbury Court is a shopper’s paradise of pottery, art, rugs, furniture (modern to Early American antiques), pewter, crystal, kitchen gourmet and much more. This will be a sale you will remember for a long time.
As you enter the living room you will see the wall unit filled with pottery of all sizes and shapes. Some pieces are from the South West, Mexico, New England and other parts of the world. The lady of the house did a lot of traveling and brought back pieces that we will be selling. Many are signed and there are some black pottery pieces from Dona Rosa of Mexico.
As well as all the beautiful pottery, she bought several pieces of wonderful art. There are lithographs, etchings and several signed prints, some Oriental pieces and a few originals.
There are beautiful rugs of every size in every room, several are from the Safavieh Collection. There are also some hand made rugs from India and at least one from the Tommy Bahama collection.
The dining room table and six chairs fit perfectly for Holiday entertaining. The antique early American tall armoire has shelves that are great for linen and dish storage. The washed pine dresser has lots of drawers for extra linens, silver flatware and any other item you will need to set a beautiful table.
The kitchen is full of gourmet cooking items and almost new bakeware for all of your Holiday cooking and baking. The antique pine kitchen table and oak Windsor chairs would be perfect for the kitchen or dining room.
The house is full of many gift ideas which include the beautiful pair of Fabergé crystal wine glasses in the Bristol pattern and a large variety of other fine crystal including Christian Dior, English Tutbury, Stuart, Germany Zwiesel, Baccarat France Massena Pattern, Waterford and many more. There is a set of silver-plate flatware that is brand new and looks like a very beautiful Repoussé sterling pattern and several pieces of pewter in all sizes that would make a nice addition to a formal home. We also have several Sterling Silver items.
The king size wrought iron bed will need a mattress but the box springs look like new and there are several very nice linens to fit the bed. The other bedroom furniture is like new and is Drexel Heritage. The long blanket chest would be perfect at the end of the bed.
The day bed is a beautiful piece of furniture and will be a great addition to your home for all your Holiday visitors. Other exciting pieces of furniture which seem to be early American antiques include the cobblers bench, the pine blanket chest, the very nice Windsor rocking chair and the unique carved oak chair (with wine tasting carving). The pair of wicker chairs would be wonderful on a sunporch. The leather recliner is perfect for reading or watching one of the three flat screen TV’s. The small electronic piano would make a great gift for the teenager in your family.
There are some small Christmas trees that never need to be watered and a box of assorted Christmas tree ornaments. Just the thing for a small area that you want to decorate.
The office has everything you need to set up your home business. From a substantial desk, which also seems to be an antique, and chair to computer and other office accessories including a nice printer. Around the house, you will also find an antique secretary desk that has perfect storage and a very unusual wicker chair for lounging. There are several table lamps that all look like brand new and another great armoire with plenty of storage.
